Cheetah mother stalking her cub
Переглядів 28713 років тому
This video was taken in Tanzania in late 2010 with a Casio Exilim FH100 high speed camera. As the Cheetah playfully stalked her cub I waited until she started running and shifted into high speed video to get the slow motion effect.
Westie versus tonic water bottle

Roxie the Westie chases a plastic tonic water bottle, and wins!
Cant believe this was done on 1999
Shalom is amazing 👑💞👑
Shalom was the perfect model for this❤
impresionante. dijo la modelo Shalom Harlow en una entrevista: "I mean, there was barely even a fitting,” she says, voice hushed. “I got off a flight, and we made sure the belt around the top of the dress fit. I was told that I was going to be on a podium that spun, with robot arms that were going to spray-paint me. And that was it. I did not know how long I was going to be spinning. I didn’t know the velocity of the spin. I didn’t know the music piece. I didn’t know anything. I just walked out there, and responded to the elements.”...."Se sintió como si acabara de caer un rayo. Era eléctrico. La gente se volvió loca y la gente todavía está respondiendo a ese momento, 20 años después”.
How unbelievably pointless and stupid
Shalom Harlow was and still is absolutely stunning. She is 50 nowadays but still youthful looking with the maturity of a wise woman ❤.
Thanks to all Canada for this beauty queen!
One of the greatest pieces of art ever
Porquería de vestido 😂
I have no idea how I am going to pull this off, but this is going to be my halloween costume this year
Majestic Majestic Majestic! Like the designer like it's Supermodel Muse! Shalom Harlow is Queen for a reason ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Shalom Shalom Shalom. She was above and beyond in every way, utterly fascinating. Never seen anyone like her before or since.
I love the theater of the initial suspense
Shallom estuvo improvisando todo el rato, solo le dijeron que habria pintura y un vestido blanco, nada fue ensayando, ni se probó el vestido antes de.
He's a genius. Artistry from a different perspective that cannot be used in words from the model's perfect facial expression and crude painting. This was too perfect a performance to have just come out of the head of a young man in his 20s in 1997, and it is unlikely that such an impact will come out in the future.I was moved to tears for the first time when I saw this video, and this is why I still respect and love Alexander McQueen the most 12 years after his death. I loved you, i love you, i will love you Alexander mcqueen. Rest in piece.
lo bien que lo hace la modelo me parece impresionante
This is fucked up. The dress is stupid and the final result is stupid. Am I the only one seeing this?
👍👍👍👍👍
McQueen, Galliano - if Britain never produced designers the industry would be fkd
❤ just sit with the mesmerising theatrical unfolding of an iconic moment in history ❤ There's no denying THAT people ❤ Still to thus day I ❤ this moment in time ❤
I've never seen this before. It's fantastic. One of the best examples of performance art I have seen. So much of it is often just pretentious nonsense. This was perfect in every way. Especially the human-machine boundary challenging aspect. I only looked it up as it was mentioned on BBC 6 Music today...
I always loved how she’s not just standing there modeling but she’s in character 😢 this is so beautiful ❤❤
And her walk😢😢😢 shalom harlow is a LEGEND
I know right! Shalom performed way beyond modeling, though even when "just" modelling her walk is fascinating to behold!
She is the Legend❤
It’s Carrie, fashion edition.
They should've sprayed on something that would melt the dress off...
I could listen to Hamish Bowles talk about fashion all day long.
Pure creative genius and fashion as art and performance ……the robots were balletic, graceful, menacing and rapacious. The dress was utter simplicity and perfection in its scale. The graffiti the ultimate symbol of modernity and the explosion of applause by the audience, rapturous. And of course the model was an actress, not just a model. Perfection.
Not even really trained as either though I don't think (only actually trained in ballet) that's what's so amazing it's just her instinctively knowing exactly how to play the part every move every look unrehearsed even!
I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS WAS ALL IMPROVISED! SHALOM HARLOW WAS THE BEST MODEL!!
Unbelievable. He is a genius, Shalom is inspired. Pure artistry.
Ok but how did she not get dizzy from all the spinning, I got motion sickness just from watching her spin😭
the most beautiful scene in fashion world
THE WOMAN GOT VIOLATED ! PURE WHITE VERGAN , SCARE , DRESS /ART/ AFTERMATH PRODUCED FROM SOLICE LIVETIME STRUGGLE TO MOVE ON , WILL ROBOT BE FRIEND 23 YEAR BIRDS CAN ! ALEXANDER GOT SOLICE SAW FREE NAT BIRDS IN A HUMAN LOCKDOWN SITUATION . INDEED ME TO BUT FEMALE IS CREATES LIVE , INNER ROBOT INSTICT HER " WEAPON " AGAINST RAGE
Real models are performance artists.
Even more amazing she didn't get to rehearse it. She flew in on the redeye and was simply told to stand on the platform and that it would rotate and the spray-painting would happen. She was amazing. So was he… Breathtaking. Very much missed.
Why is it yellow
I’m just thinking… how was she able to walk straight after being rotated so many times
Thus, “pointing an iPhone and taking a selfie doesn’t make one a supermodel. Sorry not sorry”. 😊😊😊
One of fashion greatest moment by Alexander McQueen and Shalim Harlow ❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Arina Goodyear please, Liepoja is breaking my heart like crazy and being able to write to you is very important, I think I have a great idea about all of this. P.S I love You very much, it's true.
so is this cool and/or forward thinking OR just edgy?
well, it was done in the spring of 1999, so you can imagine the impact it had back then it’s a piece or art, conceptual and performance art Shalom talks about this in a recent video she did for Vogue
Ngl it's just my opinion , but i don't know why ppl like this thing so much , literally it just looks like some gurl walking like they hit their head somewhere... What's so special or charming about this??? That painting? It looks like someone a shit , that walk? Zombie , that acting? What's point of this???
i promise GAUL .... Total War: Rome II - Caesar in Gaul Campaign Pack Trailer you fait in you old masrshaöll will be you 7undioning
And to day we see Bella hadid spray dress
without this ICONIC moment, we wouldn't have the Coperni dress. mark my words.
The way Shalom Harlow is moving and her facial expressions remind me of when Cinderella’s dress is being torn apart by her step sisters. RIP to the ultimate genius: Lee Alexander McQueen
Que bosta
I don't find this anywhere as entertaining as the SS23 Paris Fashion Finale with Bella Hadid getting Dress Spray-Painted on her... Perhaps this was a technological fashion marvel back then... No disrespect to model nor creators... Art / Beauty Is In The Eye of The Beholder... Perhaps my naiveness & lack of understanding prevents me from appreciating significance of event...
Kids will be here after Bella Hadid’s dress😅
